Description

This upgrade will allow the existing Rigaku system to become a leading tool in visualising reciprocal space for strain mapping of alloys and corrosion analysis. By coupling state of the art area detector system designed and built by Rigaku with their lastest development in Mo x-ray sources. The procurement provides for safety shielding upgrades for use with the Mo source, along with the source and components required for operation along with the detector. Facility: This equipment will become part of the x-ray diffraction department within the school of materials.
