Description
An automated high-throughput DNA extraction platform. This platform will be used to extract DNA directly from faecal samples (to enable PCR detection of Clostridium difficile and other anaerobic organisms) and from bacterial isolates in solution (to enable typing of C. difficile isolates). It has a 96-well plate format to enable high-throughput, extraction based on vacuum filtration technology not magnetic beads, UV decontamination, Integrated chemistry.
