Description
The digital slidescanner is able to automatically detect, focus and image tissue slice on normal glass slides. The unit can hold between 100-300 (depending on model chosen) slides which are automatically loaded into the machine. The machine can image in colour brightfield and/or multiple fluorescent stains onto a monochrome camera. The individual images are then aligned and stitched to build a digitised image of the whole tissue section. This can then be viewed in a "Google-earth-like" way and tissue/cell analysis is possible with the supplied software. Facility: yes
