The NextSeq Series leverages the latest evolution of Illumina sequencing by synthesis (SBS) technology, two-channel SBS, enabling a breakthrough reduction in data generation times.

SBS is the proven, highly accurate reversible-terminator technology used by all Illumina sequencing platforms. The technology uses fluorescently labeled nucleotides to sequence hundreds of millions of clusters on a flow cell surface in parallel.
