Cryostat System mF-ADFR System

Description

An adiabatic demagnetisation refrigerator with a base temperature of 40 mK. The system has a 6 T sample magnet (solenoid configuration). There is a 20-pin low temperature fisher connector for sample signals leading to a low temperature sample space 100 mm long by 20 mm diameter. The system is equipped with voltage and current bias electrical transport measurement equipment. Typical applications include single walled carbon nanotube devices, lateral spin valve structures and mesoscopic superconducting devices.
